FAQ
Booking and timing
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, when a chair is free. Weekday mornings are easiest. Saturdays and the week before holidays usually book out, so reserving online saves your spot.
Back to topHow early should I arrive?
Five minutes early is perfect. It gives you time to pick a color from the wall and fill in a short consult card.
Back to topCan I book for a group?
Groups of up to four can book online. For five or more, or for private party tables, call or text us at (512) 555-0192 and we will build the timeline with you.
Back to topHow long will my appointment take?
A gel manicure is about 50 minutes, a spa pedicure 45 to 75 minutes and a Gel-X set 80 to 110 minutes. Nail art adds 10 to 60 minutes depending on detail.

Do I need a patch test before my first visit?
Yes, for any tint, lamination or lash lift, and before a first peel. It takes five minutes and needs to be at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you have had the same treatment with us in the last six months, we can usually skip it.
Back to topHow often should I book a facial?
Most regulars come every four to six weeks, which matches how often skin renews itself. Reactive or sensitive skin often does better on a gentler plan to begin with, and we will suggest one at your consult.
Back to topCan I have treatments while pregnant or on skin medication?
Many treatments are fine, but we avoid peels and some ingredients during pregnancy, and we adjust or postpone treatments if you use retinoids or acne medication. Tell us at the consult or add a note when you book.
Back to topCan I wear contact lenses for a lash lift?
Please take them out before the appointment and bring your case. You can put them straight back in afterwards.
Back to topHygiene and safety
How do you clean your tools?
Metal tools are scrubbed, disinfected and sterilized in a medical-grade autoclave, then opened in front of you from a sealed pouch. Files, buffers and pedicure liners are single use.
Back to topAre your pedicure tubs pipeless?
Yes. Every pedicure chair uses a pipeless basin with a fresh disposable liner, and chairs are disinfected with an EPA-registered product between guests.
Back to topDo you offer products for sensitive skin?
We carry HEMA-free gel, fragrance-free lotion and low-temperature wax. Let us know about sensitivities when you book so we can set up the right products.
Back to topServices and products
What is the difference between gel, dip and Gel-X?
Gel is thin, flexible color cured under an LED lamp. Dip powder is thicker and air-activated. Gel-X adds length with soft gel tips. Our journal has a full comparison if you are deciding.
Back to topDo you do acrylic nails?
We do not use traditional acrylic. Our Gel-X and structured gel services give length and strength with less odor and gentler removal.
Back to topCan I bring my own polish?
Absolutely. We do ask that gel products be from professional brands we can safely cure with our lamps.

Please give us 24 hours notice to cancel or move an appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged 50 percent of the booked service.
Back to topWhat if my set chips or lifts?
Gel and dip chips within 5 days and Gel-X lifting within 5 days are fixed free. Just call or text us to pop in.
Back to topDo you accept tips on card?
Yes. You can tip on card, cash, Venmo or Apple Pay. Tips go 100 percent to your specialist.
Back to topDo you have gift cards?
Yes, digital gift cards are delivered by email instantly, and printed cards come in a blush envelope at the front desk.
