Classic manicures
A classic manicure at Velour is built for people who want their hands to look cared for without committing to gel. We start by removing any old color, then file to the shape you like best, whether that is a soft square for typing all day or a short almond that makes fingers look longer.
Removal of gel or dip adds $10 and about 15 minutes
Cuticles are pushed back and only loose, dead skin is nipped, never live tissue. You get a warm towel wrap, a lotion massage with our house shea blend and two coats of regular polish plus a quick-dry top coat. Most guests are out the door in 40 minutes with dry-to-the-touch nails.

How the appointment runs
- 01Pick your shade
Grab a bottle from the color wall or bring your saved inspo. We will suggest a shape that suits your nail beds.
- 02Prep and shape
Old polish off, a quick soak, then filing and cuticle care with tools from a freshly opened sterile pouch.
- 03Massage and wrap
Warm towel, shea lotion and five minutes of hand and forearm massage.
- 04Polish and dry
Thin, even coats and a quick-dry top coat. Hands go under the fan for a few minutes before you leave.
